Direct flights to Dresden are currently offered by over 40 airports in Germany, Europe and North Africa e.g. Vienna, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart and Zurich or with only one stop from the international airports of Frankfurt and Munich.

From the airport Dresden-Klotzsche take the city-railway (S-Bahn S2) to the Dresden Main Station (Dresden-Hauptbahnhof). From the Dresden Main Station take the bus no. 72 or 76 (towards Coschuetz/Mockritz!). Get off after 2 stops at the station "Fritz-Förster-Platz".

You can reach Dresden mainly by using the motorways A4, A13 and A14.

Take the motorway A4, at interchange Dresden-West change to the A17 to Praha, exit at Dresden-Südvorstadt. Follow the road into town for around 2.5 km up to the campus of the Technische Universität Dresden (Bergstrasse). The Lecture Hall Complex is on the left side.

The German railway network links Dresden with all major German and European destinations. Long-distance trains to and from Dresden arrive at and depart from the stations "Dresden-Hauptbahnhof" (main station) and "Dresden-Neustadt", and in many cases serve both.

Dresden offers a very good transport infrastructure of train, tram and bus. All participants and accompanying persons will find a public transport ticket (valid from Monday to Friday and for unlimited use of trams and busses in Dresden during this period) in their registration material. Please always have this ticket with you, when using public transport in Dresden!
